Family activities arts, crafts and storytelling
Wednesday 17th March, 10am to 5pm (last admission 4.30pm) - To celebrate the Spring Carnival the Tower Museum will host activities for all the family including arts and crafts and storytelling from 1pm - 5pm on the 17th March with a special admission rate of just £1. 

Programme Wednesday 17th March 2010

12.00 noon – 2.00 p.m.  Educational Suite – Themed Arts and Crafts Workshops age 6+.

12.00 noon – 2.00 p.m.  Tower Museum/outdoors – Face Painting and Balloon Modelling.

12.00 noon – 4.00 p.m.  Tower Museum/Guildhall Square/Magazine Street/City Walls.  Street Theatre  Roaming Characters, Queen Maebh, St. Columba, Irish Folklore Characters, Oisin/Children of Lir/Town Jester.

4.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Educational Suite – Themed  Arts and Crafts Workshops age 6+.

4.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m.  Tower Museum/Outdoors – Face Painting and Balloon Modelling.

4.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Afternoon Family Matinee – Darby O’Gill and the Little People.

Finding Patrick

Tower Museum Guildhall Square, Magazine Street, City Walls

Saturday 13th March and Wednesday 17th March, performances at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm – Look out for heroes and heroines of Ireland who have come to the city in search of St Patrick. Listen to their stories and find out what happens when they all get together in the city for the St Patrick’s Day Spring Carnival. On show will be mythical characters, legendary tales, but will St Patrick make an appearance?
