VOLUNTEERS

One of the most important elements of the Host Town Programme is to recruit Host Town Volunteers. It is estimated that Derry needs approximately 140 volunteers to help the Committee with hosting and entertaining its Argentinean visitors. The volunteers are needed to help in the following areas – Transport, Entertainment, Catering, Sporting Activities, Safety and Security, Medical and Torch Run.

Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of the Games. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for this unique event are urged to apply online at:
