Northern Ireland Housing Executive

The Housing Executive is Northern Ireland’s strategic regional housing authority. Their aim is to provide everyone with the opportunity to access decent, affordable housing in safe and sustainable communities, deliver excellent housing services, develop strategies to influence the wider housing market and work with others to foster urban and rural renewal and contribute to improved health and social well-being. This year they have planted 1,660 trees, 8,300 whips, 17,144 shrubs and 16,000 bulbs in various housing estates throughout the city. They have also funded 34 wall baskets as a pilot scheme to the Residents of the Triangle Estate in the City ’s Waterside area
