Exhibition - May – July Our Lives
Tower Museum
A partnership exhibition with Causeway Museum Service looking at the
legacy of World War II in the North West Region. There is a schools resource
pack to accompany the exhibition and a programme of workshops for schools.

Exhibition – 6 – 20 June
Amra Choluim Chille
Harbour Museum
An exhibition based on the Amra Choluim Chille, the oldest dateable poems
in Gaelic. It was composed shortly after the death of Colm Cille in 597.
This exhibition involves both calligraphy and visual responses to the
poem. Donald Murray, a Scottish calligrapher provided versions of the
lines from the poem. Brian Ferran, a distinguished Irish artist from
Derry (Doire Cholm Cille) who has been painting on the Colmcille theme
since the sixties, provided the visual response.

"As I See It"
Harbour Museum
A photographic exhibition by the National Autistic Society to raise awareness
about Autism and part of the National Autistic Society's "Think differently
about autism campaign". The exhibition features a series of photographs
taken by photographer Robin Hammond of ten people with autism from around the
UK (two are from N. Ireland) Alongside Robin's portraits are photographs taken
by the individuals themselves; each of them affected by autism in different
ways.

Impressions of Irish History
Workhouse Museum
This is an exhibition of newly commissioned monochrome images covering
ten thousand years of Irish history.

Launch of Commentarius Rinuccinianus
Guildhall
This is a website which gives access to the commentary on the state of
Ireland written by the Papal Nuncio Rinuccinianus in 1645.

O’Doherty Rebellion – Postscript to Flight and Prelude to
Plantation
Venue - Guildhall
One day Conference to explore the motivation, course and character of
Sir Cahir O’Doherty’s 1608 revolt, and it’s ramifications
for the Plantation of Ulster in partnership with the Institute of Ulster
Scots Studies University of Ulster.
