Foyle Valley Railway Museum

Railway Museum This museum is dedicated to telling the rich railway history of the city and surrounding area. At the heart of the exhibition is a recreated railway station platform and within the displays visitors can find out about the various railway companies which once operated out of the city.


Exhibition Tours

This is a non-guided facility with an opportunity to view the exhibits at your leisure. Recommended time for the facility is approximately thirty minutes.

Step Back in Time at the at the Foyle Valley Railway Museum this summer with a series of free family fun days each Saturday in August

7 August  All Aboard for Storytelling 2 - 3 pm
  Scallywags X Factor Puppet Show 3 - 4 pm
   
14 August  Arts and Crafts for all ages 2 – 4 pm
   
21 August All Aboard for Storytelling 2- 3 pm
  Balloon Modeling and Face Painting 3-4 pm
   
28 August Circus Skills Workshop 1.30 – 3 pm
(Limited to 20 places)
  Fear Grinn Magic Show 3 – 4 pm

  Arts and Crafts 2 – 4 pm

           

There’s free admission to the Museum and all activities are free for all the family.  All welcome.
