Gaeltacht Tent

Learn some Irish at the Gaeltacht tent with Culturlann Derry and Glencolumbcille Summer School Donegal, with opportunities for absolute beginners to more fluent speakers. Culturlann is a £4m purpose built Irish Language, Cultural and enterprise centre based in Derry’s historic Great James; Street area.

Glencolumbcille is a Gaeltacht area and the Gaelic language is still in common use here. Oideas Gael, the Ulster Cultural Centre will be attending the event to explore opportunities to learn language and traditions of the area. Both Culturlann and Oideas Gael will be promoting opportunities to attend summer schools and undertake a wide variety of residential programmes.
