In a co-ordinated approach the Department for Social Development, Ilex and Derry City Council have simultaneously published regeneration masterplans for Clooney, Ebrington and St Columb’s Park.

The Masterplans will physically connect the three sites covering some 150 acres and socially connect communities within the city and the wider region. The plans will foster opportunity through the creation of innovative purpose-built educational facilities, a hub of sporting centres of excellence, plus high-quality residential leisure and office space.

The Masterplan for St Columb’s Park creates an unrivalled opportunity for promoting excellence in leisure and sport through developing an exceptional, yet under utilised parkland, into an inclusive, safe and shared civic space for everyone to enjoy.
