Teenage Spooks Stage

An electric atmosphere is guaranteed as Teenage Spooks brings the cream of the city’s renowned performing talent to the Guildhall Square. Look forward to two jam-packed days of stunning performances featuring bands of all kinds, inventive dance troupes, superb individual artists and all that’s hot on the street. That’s not all, face painting and balloon modelling will add to the carnival atmosphere.

 

Paddy Nash & The Happy Enchiladas

Date: Sunday, October 30th
Time: 2pm – 3:30pm

High energy local favourites Paddy Nash & The Enchiladas will have you dancing, singing and smiling through Hallowe’en. Not to be missed!

Be scared, be very scared! Like something from Dr Who’s worst nightmare these mute bugs with glowing eyes and fluorescent bodies will terrify all who dare come near!

 

Short Ships – Ancient Mariners lost in Time & Place

Date: Saturday, October 29th & Sunday, October 30th

Two ghostly galleons are lost at sea with only a blank map and blind telescope to guide them. With an atmospheric sea-faring soundtrack, these poor ships are in desperate need of victuals. Can you help? Oh and did we mention their irresistible urge to dance the hornpipe with everyone they meet? These are the strangest ships you will ever encounter. You have been warned.

 

The Heron – An Eye Catching Gentle Giant

Date: Saturday, October 29th & Sunday, October 30th

Standing an awesome 9ft high, yet as gentle as a dove, this spectacular bird loves to interact with children. A giant puppet that is literally head and shoulders above the competition.
