Enter the Hall of Horrors if you dare! A thrilling innovation for this year’s carnival, Hall of Horrors sees a series of wonderful performances you just won’t want to miss. Taking over three rooms of St Columb’s Hall, you can enjoy an array of activities and acts for all ages from the mind-blowing antics of the amazing Bruce Airhead to the weird and wonderful Witches Three and the delightful Once Upon a Time, where children become the stars of the performance.

 

Bruce Airhead Show

Times: 2.15pm 4.15pm, (Duration: 30 minutes)

It’s just incredible how one man and a massive balloon can hold an audience spellbound for 30 minutes. Laughed at by the Crown heads of Europe, Bruce Airhead’s magical manipulation of the six-foot balloon will include illusions that defy belief. An act that has wowed the world’s toughest festival and street performance audiences, this metamorphosis of a man and a six-foot balloon cannot be missed. 

 

Young at Art Presents:  Once Upon a Time

Date:  Saturday October 29th, Sunday October 30th and Monday October 31st
Times: 1pm, 2.45pm, 4.15pm (Duration: 40 minutes)
Location: The Ballroom
Age group: 5 – 9 Years
Admission: FREE
The Very Trusted and Nearly Excellent Guardians of Tall Tales and Small Stories look after EVERY STORY EVER MADE IN THE WORLD in the Most Extraordinary Wonderful and Magical Library. But there was a fire and the stories were destroyed! The Very Trusted and Nearly Excellent Guardians of Tall Tales and Small Stories had to find EVERY STORY AGAIN and have found all of them, EXCEPT FOR ONE! Can you help them find the last missing story? This is a unique interactive performance.  Children actively take part in the creation and telling of a new story under the guidance of the storytellers.

 

Young at Art Presents:  The Butterfly and the Caterpillar

Age group: 2 – 6 Years

Mr Caterpillar spends his day eating green leaves and singing songs on his ukulele. The beautiful Butterfly doesn’t like Mr Caterpillar. She thinks his songs are silly and he is a messy eater! But it’s the Butterfly’s birthday and none of her friends can come to her party. Can Mr Caterpillar come to rescue?

In Your Space presents:The Dressiest Party in Town - Da Funk Asylum

Location: St Columb’s Hall - Downstairs Ballroom
Admission: £8 at door
It’s close to midnight. There’s something evil lurking in the dark.
You try to scream but DISCO drowns the sounds out before you make it. A last chance to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight as you round off Hallowe’en in style.
