The 2010 Waterside Half Marathon is scheduled for SUNDAY, 12th September 2010, from the Gransha Grounds with an anticipated record 1500 + participants expected to line up on the day.
We are delighted that our major corporate sponsor, TESCO, are involved once again and together we look forward to staging yet another superb event on September 12th.
Athletics NI Championship Status
The Waterside once again will host the Athletics NI Half Marathon Championship. Thanks to Athletics NI for their continuing vote of confidence in our race and we can assure all club runners of a Championship class event on the day.
Charities
This year the designated Mayor’s charities are HURT (Have YOUR Tomorrows) and Parkinson’s UK, Foyle Branch, and we hope that many of the participants will use their efforts on the road to assist both groups in their sponsorship drive.
