Walled City Photographic Competition 2008.

To celebrate Irish Walled Towns' Day - Sunday 24th August 2008, the Irish Walled Towns Network (IWTN), an initiative of the Heritage Council of Ireland established in April 2005, held a photographic competition titled:
"National and Local Historic Walled Towns and Cities Photographic Competition 2008"

The Guildhall Square Walled City Market

Packed with speciality foods, variety stalls and excellent shops, the Guildhall Square will come to life on Saturday the 6th December. The final market dates for 2008 are Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st December.
