Community Services Reports

Audit of Community and Voluntary Sector Training Needs within Derry City Council area.

Undertaken by Holywell Consultancy in association with Community Services and completed March 2008. (Launched June 2008.)

The report provides an evidence base on the training needs of the local Community and Voluntary Sector as defined by the sector. Community Services will aim to use this evidence base to prioritise training provision. It is hoped that the information will also be of use to Community and Voluntary Sector organisations as evidence in sourcing funding to provide training themselves.

Two versions of the report are attached for free download. The summary version (also available in hard copy on request from Community Services) is the report minus the appendices. The full version contains the appendices which include information on groups which participated in the research by questionnaire, discussion or focus groups. Also contained as an appendix in the full version is information provided by community and voluntary sector groups on training which they can provide.
