Information on Community Safety Projects, funded through the
Partnership
Ten Stories High
This project is an inter-generational digital story telling project.
Digital storytelling originated in the U.S.A. with the aim of using
digital media specifically PCs, digital cameras and basic sound
recording equipment to assist the community in telling meaningful
stories from their lives with additional material generated from
their personal photo albums, etc. The aim of the project is to
produce a series of digital stories each 3-5 minutes long that
articulate through private photographs, new photographs, music
and original narration the experiences, perceptions and understandings
of the participant. Stories and further information can be viewed
on the dedicated website: http://www.verbalartscentre.co.uk/10stor/index.htm
The Ten Stories High project ran from October 2004 to end March
2005.
