Club Development Networks

Derry City Council have launched their first in a series of sport specific Club Development Networks by bringing together all 7 boxing clubs from the area.

The aim of the Boxing Club Development Network is to ensure quality provision for the education and training of boxing coaches and the development of boxing clubs across Derry City Council.

To achieve these goals, the network will aim to bring together all key stakeholders involved in boxing provision for the area.  This will provide the vehicle for discussion from which a clear concise strategic direction on the future of boxing provision can be created for the area.

The Boxing Club Development Network will be the lead organisation on prioritising short, medium and long term goals that Derry City Council will work to achieve in partnership with Sport NI and Eglinton, Oakleaf, Ring, Springtown, St Josephs, St Mary’s, Cityside Boxing Clubs.
