Shared City Project Carol Service

The Shared City Project’s Family Christmas Carol Service will take place next Wednesday, 12th December at the Carlisle Road Methodist Church at 7.30 pm.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend this annual interdenominational service and join in the Christmas festive celebrations. The event will be attended by clergymen from all denominations and music will be provided by carol singers, the Fountain PS choir, the Long Tower Folk Group, Damien and Hugo and Willie Loughran.

Special guest on the night will be Santa. The event will also be attended by the Mayor and Mayoress. Jeanette Warke of the Shared City Project encouraging as many people as possible to come along said it was an important event for the city. She said: “Its a very special occasion which brings people from all communities together to celebrate Christmas and I look forward to seeing families from across the city coming along and joining in.”
