Press ReleaseSchools enjoy Ghoulish Fun and Games24th October 2005With the Hallowe’en spirit gripping the city almost 500 children from schools around the City are currently attending the Hallowe’en schools programme, which has been organised in the Workhouse Museum and Central Library as part of this year’s Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival celebrations. Staff at both the Workhouse Museum and Central Library have put together a fantastic programme featuring traditional Hallowe’en games, together with some ghostly characters who will be regaling children with some spooky stories especially for the Hallowe’en period. Demand each year is huge for the Hallowe’en schools programme with spaces for the tours and stories being filled weeks in advance. A full programme for the Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival is now available through the through Derry City Council Offices, the Tourist Information Centre or via the website www.derrycity.gov.uk/halloween.
