Press ReleaseFood Hazard Warning20th December 2004Derry City Council’s Environmental Health Department have been notified of a Food Hazard Warning from the Food Standards Agency of Northern Ireland regarding Mislabelled Walkers Band French Fries Potato Snack in Individual Packs. The Food Hazard Warning relates to Cheese and Onion flavoured French Fries which have inadvertently been packed into bags labelled as Ready Salted flavour. Some people with allergies to milk, wheat and mustard may have a severe reaction to the cheese and onion flavouring. The affected product is: Walkers Ready Salted French Fries in individual, single serve, packets (excludes multi-packs and 95g size packets). Best before 26.02.05 Code; all codes between and including: GBC303 318d and GBC 303 319d No other Walkers Brand French Fries products are known to be affected. Walkers Snack Food Ltd have provided a customer helpline which can be contacted on 0800 274 777.
