Shared City’s House of Horrors for Halloween

Thursday, 21 October 2004

The Shared City Project, with the support of Derry City Council, is hosting a day of ghostly activities for families on Friday next, 29 October, at its House of Horrors at St Columb’s Park House.

The day of ghostly events will take place from 10.00am – 4.00pm and will feature a Ghostbusters bus trip around the city, jaunts around the park on board Dracula’s Coach, blindfolded Ghost Trails and much much more including storytelling and mask making, Pumpkin Design, Halloween Card and Costume Making, face painting, and Halloween games. The day will come to a scary conclusion with a Spooks Disco, a Fancy Dress Parade and Sausage Sizzle. A tuck shop will also be available on the day.

Tickets priced at £1 are currently available by contacting the Shared City. It is important to note that booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

Jeanette Warke of the Shared City Project said she was very much looking forward to Friday’s event. “The previous years have been a tremendous success, we have had hundreds of very excited children taking part and they have really enjoyed it. We have an even better range of activities in place for them this year and believe it will be another great success,” she said.

For further information please contact Jeanette Warke at the Shared City office on 028 71 329144.
