An event is to be held at the City Hotel on Tuesday, 23 November, from 10 am to 12.30 pm where women from the Shared City Project’s Community Education Programme and women from Killeshanndra, Co Cavan will come together for a pre-enterprise programme to share ideas and expertise on self-employment. Jeanette Warke of the Shared City Project said she was delighted to be part of such a unique and innovative partnership and was confident that Tuesday’s event would be beneficial to women from both Northern Ireland and the Republic. “This event is aimed at inspiring women who are unsure of the next step or considering their career options. It is also aimed at bringing together women from diverse backgrounds to share their experiences and support each other. I am really looking forward to the event and believe it will be a great success for everyone involved,” she added. The WIN Ireland Project is a cross border project that is funded under Peace II.
