Bach Mass in B Minor

The Mayor Alderman Drew Thompson said he was delighted the Guildhall would play host to this spectacular occasion for the first time next month. “This is one of Classical music’s most spectacular and celebrated choral works and will be a very special event for the Guildhall. The Council is delighted to be associated with this event and believes it will be a tremendous success for everyone involved.”

“The local Codetta choir is widely recognised as one of the best choirs in Ireland and the UK and with the help of a range of international soloists, including Una Carlin and Doreen Curran and members of the Ulster orchestra, it promises to be a wonderful musical performance.”

The Codetta Choir will also be performing as part of the Council’s Christmas Festival (15-22 December) which will bring together school and civic choirs to the Guildhall for seasonal songs and celebrations in the run up to the festive season.
