Ryanair Announces New Route From Derry To Birmingham

Fares From £10

Tuesday 17th June 2008

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (17 June) announced a new daily service from Derry to Birmingham. This follows an announcement on June 5th of a new 3 times weekly service from Derry to London (Luton) which will also be launched at the end of October.

Speaking in Birmingham today, Ryanair’s Bridget Dowling said:

“With 7 low fare Ryanair routes on offer from Derry, the people of Northern Ireland are now spoiled for choice. With the addition of these 2 routes Ryanair will carry over 650,000 pax per annum through Derry City Airport.

“While other airlines are busy increasing fuel surcharges, Ryanair is busy guaranteeing the lowest fares and no fuel surcharges ever on any of its new routes.”

“To celebrate these new routes we are offering seats from Derry from just £10.00 one way including taxes and charges. We urge passengers to book today as these seats will be snapped up. Only Ryanair guarantees the lowest fares on www.ryanair.com .”
