Something’s cooking in the city

Wednesday, 15 December 2004

What is expected to be the busiest and most successful Country Food Fair this year is taking place on Saturday 18 December from 10am-4pm in Guildhall Square.

It is guaranteed to get those taste buds going, with the fantastic array of fresh produce from organic to speciality to traditional to exotic. The mouth-watering produce will range from organic meat & vegetables from Derry, fish from Donegal, apple juice from County Armagh, handcrafted traditional breads and pastries, County Antrim, Irish & Continental cheeses, herbs, olives & seafood.

If you love food you will love our food fair.

The event is being organised by Rural Area Partnership in Derry (RAPID) as part of its programme to promote rural products in the City and it is being supported through Derry City Council’s, Economic Development Programme as part of Council’s strategy to use market development as a way of bringing vitality to the City’s secondary commercial area.
