Last Call for all you Spooks

With the closing date for entries to the Teenage Spooks Competition looming, organisers of the Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival have issued a last call to those bands who are up to the challenge of playing live on Halloween night.

Derry City Council Festivals Organiser, Nuala McGee said,

“This is the last chance for all up and coming teenage bands to grasp the opportunity of playing in front of a crowd of thousands on Hallowe’en night. All those who are thinking of throwing their names in the hat should do so now as we’re closing for entries this Wednesday, 12th October and only the final 6 bands will play on Hallowe’en night.”

Auditions will take place this Saturday, 15th October from 10am - 1pm in the Waterside Theatre, and from 2.30pm - 5.30pm in the Nerve Centre.

The Teenage Spooks band competition will take place in the Alcohol Free Victoria Market Car Park on Hallowe'en night from 8 - 11pm and is open to all types of music. With organisers receiving entries up until this Wednesday, 12th October, this is your last chance to participate in this fantastic opportunity!!!
