Public Meeting of Derry District Policing Partnership

Whitehorse Hotel, 68 Clooney Road at 10.30am

A public meeting of the Derry District Policing Partnership will take place on Thursday 27th October at 10.30 am at the Whitehorse Hotel, Clooney Road.

At this meeting the District Commander will present his Report on local policing.

The meeting will also provide a platform from which local people can present their views on policing within the district.

Encouraging members of the public to attend the meeting the DPP Chairman, Councillor Thomas Conway, indicated that through participation in the meeting the public can ensure that the police are accountable. He looked forward in his term of chair to ensuring the DPP were effective and efficient in the monitoring of police performance. The DPP meeting will convene at the Whitehorse Hotel at 10.30 am.

The District Commander will present his report and also address questions received from the public. A full copy of responses to public questions received will be distributed 30 minutes before the start of the meeting to allow those attending, time to format a relevant supplementary question.

The closing date for the submission of written questions is the 14th October at 12: Noon. They can be submitted by fax, email or in writing to:
