Safety Regulations
Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over). One adult can supervise a maximum of 2 children under 8 years old.
Adults Only Sessions
Exclusive use for adults aged 18 years and over.
Monday – Friday, 9.00 pm session.
Lunchtime Adults Only
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12.20 – 1.00 pm.
Funtime in the Pool
Friday afternoon sessions 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm and Saturday morning sessions 10.00 am – 11.40 am. Reduced rates.

Courses
Swimming Lessons – Children’s and Adults
Waiting list in operation – contact Reception for booking procedure.
Minnows – Course of 8 lessons for 5 year old children (foundation award). Certificate presented at end of the course.
Children aged 6 yrs and over progress through Ducklings (level 1), Dolphins (level 2) and Sharks (Level 3). Classes take place Monday – Thursday afternoon after school 3.30 pm, 4.15 pm or 5.00 pm and Saturday morning. Children must be 6 years of age. Each course of lessons lasts 8 weeks. A certificate is presented to each child at the end of the course.
Lifesaving Classes
Waiting list in operation for Lifesaving Classes leading to Bronze Medallion Award. Contact Reception for booking procedure.
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification – Courses held at various times during the year in Derry City Council pools – Lisnagelvin, Templemore Sports Complex or City Baths – contact Lisnagelvin or City Baths for information.
Canoe Sessions
Pool available for hire by Canoe Groups with their own instructor – contact Reception for more details.
Holidays
During school holidays and on Bank Holidays, the programme will vary, please contact the site for more details.
Summer Swim Camp – month of July, swimming lessons.
Birthday Parties
Why have all the mess at home when you can have a fun party here. Let us have the hassle so that you can enjoy the day. Have birthday swims at a reduced price or hire the room and bring your own food and entertainment. Bookable in advance.
School Swimming
Local school children participate in Swimming Lessons with our qualified Swimming Lesson Co-ordinator – contact Reception for further details.
Lisnagelvin Amateur Swimming Club

Health Suite

Gym
Our gym has 35 stations of the most up-to-date fitness equipment with a range of both cardio and resistance machines.
To become a member, you must attend an induction course prior to using the equipment. The induction session is carried out by a qualified member of staff who will show you exactly how the equipment works and answer your questions. Contact Reception for booking procedure.
On completion of this course you will be issued with an authorised Membership Swipe Card.
