Derry City Council aims to provide good quality services for all our communities. Specifically we have set out in our Corporate Plan 2006-2009 our aim of providing “quality and value for money services, defined by the needs of the region, delivered in an efficient and responsive manner” and our objectives of:
  • Providing services which reflect local and regional needs, with due regard to statutory obligations
  • Efficient, accessible and responsive services
  • Standards of excellence in the delivery of all our services
  • Value for money and continuous improvement in what we do

In addition, we have set out in our Customer Service Charter the standards that you can expect when contacting the Council by telephone, by letter, e-mail or in person. In many areas, there are also specific service standards, which are set out in Departmental Plans.
