Inspections (Health and Safety)

Inspection of workplaces within the enforcement remit of DCC to ensure that risks to peoples health and safety from work activities are properly controlled.  This includes planned inspections based on priority planning and targeted inspections based on specific initiatives

District Councils are responsible for enforcing health and safety in a wide variety of premises. As well as enforcing the law we also provide advice and assistance to businesses and the general public.
