Women's Programme

Derry City Council employs a Women’s Officer to liaise and network with existing women’s groups who are working in the field of community development and community relations, at local, national and international levels, and to engage in the management and development of relevant programmes. The Women’s Officer will advise, liaise and establish relationships with statutory, voluntary, and public sectors to promote models of good practice in community development and community relations work with women. 

The Women’s Officer delivers various programmes in the field of Community Development and Community Relations as shown in the following examples:
