Committee Administration
Committee Administration is responsible for providing the full range of services to Council and its Committees. These services include:-
- Prepare agenda, reports etc. for distribution on cds to Members of Council, Officers, the press and other interested parties
- Attendance at meetings, drafting minutes
- Making arrangements for deputations wishing to attend meetings
- Liaising with statutory agencies and public bodies in relation to attendance at Council meetings
- Drafting of correspondence arising out of meetings involving the communication of Council policy and decisions to a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector bodies and individuals
- Researching, gathering information and answering queries from Council Members, Officers and the general public concerning Council meetings
