Energy Efficiency Homes Scheme

Warm Homes SchemeIf you are considering improving your home’s insulation or heating you may be eligible for a Warm Homes Scheme grant. The Warm Homes Scheme is designed to assist people in Northern Ireland in making their home warmer and more energy efficient. The Warm Homes Scheme is aimed at people on a wide range of benefits including income based benefits such as Housing Benefit or Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, disability related benefits such as Disability Living Allowance, and benefits such as Pension Credit or Attendance Allowance. Those in receipt of qualifying benefits are eligible for assistance towards insulating their home, for example towards the installation of loft or cavity wall insulation, and energy advice. In addition some applicants may be eligible for the Warm Homes Plus grant towards conversions or installations of central heating systems.
